Pansy has gone crazy.

So Pansy has flat gone crazy. She has decided that the nice folded up quilt is no longer an appropriate bed and has pulled it halfway across my room and ROLLS AROUND on it every night for like 30 minutes. She's been flinging her bone around and barked for 15 minutes at 3 a.m. last night because it was under the futon. Not ok. AND she's been doing that thing where she goes nuts and runs around like she's being chased or is chasing something? Only now it involves jumping on my bed too. She also apparently likes to be held. You would never know it from this picture, but she jumps into Whitney's lap everythime she walks in the door. She's officially nuts.

So last night was the first night of the CAC retreat, which is theis Leadership Summit at OU. We had a keynote speaker named Jan Hargrave and she talked all about body language. She was this really cool woman from Lafyette that called everyone baby in this crazy cajun accent. But when I met her before her keynote we shook hands and she said I had a good handshake. So then in the middle of her keynote she hauled me up on stage to demonstrate handshakes. I have a 9.9. Its all about web contatc people. Anyway, afterwards I asked her about my eyebrow situation. She said that its a nervous habit but to be careful because the left hand pulling on the eye or ear usually indicates lying! I said I normally do it when I'm not talking to people and she asked me if I talk to myself a lot! Everyone laughed but I got worried!

Anyway, rest of the weekend: devoted to CAC REtreat and Panhellenic Elections on Sunday. Great weekend for studying for those 2 large tests on Tuesday!

So I spent my first five hours at the Crossroads Youth and Family Services Relief Shelter yesterday. I don't like it and I don't want to do it again. Unfortunately, I'll be doing it every Monday for the rest of the semester. Boo. It would be better if the staff was nicer to the volunteer corps. I know it must be a hard job having to see children in crisis day in and day out but crap people! Be a little nicer!

The job search also continues. I had an interview yesterday with the Western History Collection in the Library and one at the Apoth, a Greek shop in Norman. I feel like I should work at the Library to safegaurd a paycheck! I'm just saying!

Lunch with Granny tomorrow....

Relief

So CAC is selling thse amazing releif shirts that are not only popular, but making $7.50 a pop for the Hurrican Releif. SO far we've made $144,000. I feel like that respectable! The OSU version of CAC called us last wee to make it a challenge--like on the news, PUBLICLY!--so we said sure. We're always up for that. We pulled in our $140,000 and they brought in a whopping $40,000. I asked if we get to have a bronze hat. They didn't think it was funny. In my head I commented that it might be the only contest we win against them this year...Bad times.
So if you want a Big Easy Relief shirt in green, or a cross Relief shirt in crimson, let me know! They're so hot right now!

Everyone else is doing it....

So everyone else in our whole family is getting a blog and I decided not to be left out of the fad...I never could stand that! And we decided that this way we can ALL keep in touch better (you know, since our parents moved thousands of miles away...). So here I am in Norman in my fun little house blogging away!

Here is my little house in Norman...

I can promise that this blog will NOT be as exciting as Andrea, Sam, and Theo's, but there is really no competition with the Little Man. He is way better than television. We all just sit and watch him drool or squirm or whatever. We don't even talk. Its pretty funny.

Me and my favorite Little Man. He always has his hands over his ears...

I think I'm done for my first blogging experience...now we just need to get Mom and Steve set up and we'll be in business. We won't even have tot alk anymore, we'll just blog. (I'm kidding Mom). OK, I'm out...
