My dream job.

I have found it.

Here is my day:

10:00 pick the kids up from swimming lessons
10:30 get home; swim with the kids for about an hour / or go to the zoo / or the movie
11:30 bring the kids in, start on lunch
12:00 feed the kids
12:30 play in the playroom
1:00 kids go down for nap
1-3 clean up the playroom, clean up the kitchen from lunch, put pool stuff in laundry, take a nap
3:00 kids wake up
3-5 watch a movie in the playroom, play with the thousands of toys available

If I could figure out how to make this my real job, I totally would. It ROCKS.

Battle of the Pugs

So for those of you who don't know, my roommate, den Daas (or Clark, as some of you may know her) also has a 9 year old pug. Her name is Panda. The coincedences run rampant.

Panda came to visit us this week. For those of you who think maybe I have let our precious pug put some weight on, feast your eyes on this bowling ball...

She is WAY fatter than Pansy! And shorter and not as long. However, she might be meaner.

Panda decided no one could pet Pansy, especially not den Daas, so she got a little cranky, fur flew, and I got bit. Hard. Twice. Turns out living with Lucy and Olive made Pansy a bit more social and easy to get along with.

Turns out she also has Kung Fu Pug moves. She would totally kick Panda's ass if I would let her. :)

OK people, the search is over.

The wedges have been found. I repeat, the wedges have been found!

I was at SteinMart looking for something in desperation (honestly, can't remember what...it was a shiny object distraction moment) and I saw THEM. The ever elusive black wedges that don't look I travelled in my time machine to 1972 to bring back, hemp and all. I LOVE them, I had to make them my own. And they were on sale! It was the greatest shoe day ever.

Please disregard the gross mosquito bites.

They are a product of playing in the grass with my favorite Little Man!
