New Shoes! And not the kind I normally get!
So I have been walking a LOT. I guess lot is relative term...it is certainly a lot for me. I am trying to do 5 miles three times a week. I know, uber-ambitious.
However, my feet have been KILLING me. This has put a serious damper on the shoes that I enjoy wearing. Because I don't enjoy them when my feet are already in serious pain. Which is just a sin, and one I needed to take care of in Lent.
Enter: OKRunner. And the Brooks Addiction 7.
So this guy named Craig made me walk around the store while he watched my feet and then proceeded to explain for 10 full minutes what was happening to my arches, calves, and knees and why my current shoes suck. He then made me try on three different types of shoes before he was happy with the bone that sticks out of your ankle and how mine was moving. I was so impressed that I didn't even argue that they only come in one color (I don't wear purple regularly... Elisa got green ones and I was jealous). It was bananas.
